This was our first ever Vesak Celebration in the city of Brampton. As we paid our homage to: Lord Buddha on this thrice blessed Holy Day we were gratified to find that our upaska-upasika community continuing to support for the Centre.

Over five hundred people gathered to Lion’s Club Hall at 45 Avondale Blvd, to celebrate the Vesak and the programme was fulfilled with a Sil programme for both adults and children, Vesak Lanterns, Buddhist posters, Devotional songs, speeches, Buddhist drama called Kadawalalu, etc…

Free meal packets were provided to all participants during lunch time and at the end certificates were awarded to all children who had taken a part of the celebration.

Let’s spread good will on this Vesak day and always! Let’s honour and respect others and their values!

May Peace and Metta reign in your hearts! Blessings of the Holy Triple Gem to all!

Happy Vesak!
